Leesburg vs Winter Garden Lakeview, High School Football Game

Jackets Meet Lakeview In Home Game Tonight

The Leesburg Yellow Jackets are home-maging it tonight at Memorial Field to try and get in the win
column in the Orange Belt Conference. Lakeview's Red Devils will furnish the opposition and the Winter
Garden squad rates a slight favorite.

Coach Earl Burt says his team is ready to stop the power plays of the Devils and the running skill of Jon
Minor, Larry Algood and Jim Carwford.

The Jackets have been working hard to get a passing combination clicking, and to dress up their
offensive with some "extra" zip on the downfield march.

Quarterback Ivan Roberts has sharpened his tossing eye and receivers Andy Miller and Buddy LaBorde
are alert for anything leather and oval-shaped that drops out of the sky.

Eddie Parker is in good shape for more of that down-the-middle sod-busting line play he has excelled
in for two games this season.

Russell Avera will get his chance at center tonight, and Jack Hewitt and Jimmy Tichenor will hold down
that middle.
